Our family story about truffles begins back in 1919 when our grandfather, as a boy, first found truffles in the forest.
At that time, this miraculous mushroom was not commercially recognized; it was used exclusively for family tables, as a hidden treasure for preparing the most special dishes. The value of truffles was a secret of nature, which we have preserved and nurtured through generations.
Over the years, truffles have remained a source of love for the local flavors and customs of Istria for us.
Before they became a global gastronomic delicacy, we sought and used truffles only for our own needs, with respect for the land and a sincere passion recognized in every walk through the forest. Our family has preserved the tradition, scents and flavors, until a new chapter.
In 2005, we decided to take a professional step forward.
Since then, we have been engaged in the production and processing of truffles, developing our own recipes and creating products that bear our family signature.
Today, we no longer search for truffles ourselves – we purchase them from experienced truffle hunters, selecting only the highest quality specimens from the Istrian forests. Our mission is to combine rich heritage with a modern approach, offer authentic products and tell a story of passion, dedication and family values.
